On the basis of our programming and expertise, the Global Center develops reports and policy briefs to strengthen the evidence base and guide the field of preventing and countering violent extremism.
We produce and fund timely research to spotlight the experiences and perspectives of those most affected by terrorism and counterterrorism, drawing attention to emergent issues and informing better ways forward.
Our Method
The Global Center has a diverse team of staff and network of senior fellows, whose expertise spans the impact of artificial intelligence on human security, rehabilitation and reintegration of violent extremist offenders, the role of women in efforts to counter violent extremism, and peacebuilding and restorative justice. Together, we bring a sound and nuanced knowledge base of complex geographic, socioeconomic, political, religious, and cultural contexts.
We disseminate and discuss our findings with policymakers, the private sector, and civil society to ensure it is actionable and accessible. Our research is aligned with and informed by our programming around the world, including our robust monitoring and evaluation methodology tailored to each project.
